“To Educate is to Liberate”
Mission
Through preventive, awareness-raising, formative and educational activities we aim to support and accompany children, adolescents, young people, adults and people in need to improve their lives step by step . This way, we can understand their role in society and reveal their calling.
The Foundation “VENERINI SISTERS YOUTH CENTER – GJADËR LEZHË” is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization. It operates in the field of social, educational issues and protection of rights, in the field of anti-trafficking and human promotion. These activities are realized through various projects and volunteering. We believe in volunteerism as a form of civic and social development and therefore we promote it continuously. Among the activities that take place, the main focus is the promotion of rights; protection of minors, victims of trafficking, women and victims of violence, young people, families and all persons in need, in social and economic difficulties. Social, formative and professional activities aim to accompany the beneficiaries towards employment. Training courses for educators, animators and volunteers are crucial as well. We are focused on the promotion of rights in order to become the voice of those who do not have a voice. As a result, we hold congresses, shows, meetings, sports activities, music, documentaries, videos that are related to various social, educational and pedagogical issues. All this is done to accompany the individual in his entirety without leaving behind what is essential: the companionship of all those who have been entrusted to us towards the revelation of being sons of God. Therefore, the center accompanies through catechistic meetings and prayer experiences all children, adolescents and families of the area where the activities take place. Our services are:
