Memorable week for us, Maestre Pie Venerini, the one we have just spent. Several events took place to celebrate the first 25 years of the Congregation’s presence in the Earth of the Eagles. In all the manifestations we had the welcome and joyful presence of the Mother
General, Sr. Eliana Massimi, the General Councilor, sr. Teresa and the Mother Provincial, Sr. Enrica Giovannini, who came to Albania for the festive occasion.
On 11 May the new house in Lezhë was inaugurated, aimed at hosting, under the regime of semi-autonomy, adult girls from Rozalba and students in need. After ribbon cutting, Mother General in thanking those who have contributed to this important realization, highlighted how it corresponds to the educational charism of St. Rose. In presence of numerous students, friends and guests, the rite of blessing the house was officiated by the bishop of Lezhë, Mgr. Ottavio Vitale, who expressed his satisfaction with the work that is underway.
Students of the “Rogacionistet” School, where we offer our formative work, led by Sr. Arta Suli, presented some dances, poems and songs dedicated, in particular, to the dignity of woman. A rich refreshment crowned the party evening.
